Shield
The shield is red with a white border the colors of the Engineer Corps. The horse alludes to the wooden horse used at the city of Troy during the Trojan War, from which city, Troy, New York, received its name and where the organization was originally organized in 1921.

The coat of arms was originally approved for the 352d Engineer Regiment on 26 April 1930. It was amended to remove the Reserve crest on 8 December 1942. The insignia was redesignated for the 75th Engineer Construction Battalion on 5 June 1952.
